The AFCONE will host a dialogue on Nuclear Security in Africa

Event: The dialogue will bring together a select group of government officials, practitioners, and scholars for interdisciplinary conversations on nuclear materials security, contextualized within African and global geopolitics.
Discussion topics includes:
- Assessing the nuclear security landscape.
- Revising IAEA nuclear security recommendations.
- Strengthening the Amended Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material RevCon; and
- Enabling peaceful uses of nuclear technology.
