AFCONE Chairperson H.E. Gaspard Liyoko MBOYO was honoured to be hosted by the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) secretariat. The meeting focused on collaboration within the broader African Union framework to advance continental security and development.
The engagement marks a significant turning point, shifting from policy discourse to proactive, sustainable implementation of nuclear energy for development and enhanced governance.
The meeting noted that under the African Union family, both bodies are crucial for achieving the African Union’s Agenda 2063, with AFCONE securing the technical and energetic future, and the APRM ensuring the political and governance foundation for sustainable development.
