Uplifting Nuclear Safeguards in Africa – 2023 Programme (8-11 May, Necsa, Pretoria, South Africa)

From 8 – 11 May AFCONE successfully completed the Uplifting Safeguards in Africa Training Course at the Pelindaba Nuclear Centre in Pelindaba, South Africa. The programme that will last for five years will sustainably strengthen nuclear material accountancy & control systems in Africa, using the capabilities of AFCONE safeguards Regional Collaborating Centres in Africa – Pelindaba (South Africa), Algiers (Algeria), and Swakopmund (Namibia).
