AFCONE – WiN Africa Webinar on African Women Experts Efficient Role in Implementing Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy for Africa’s Development

The AFCONE hosted this Webinar as a Follow Up to the one on “African Women Contribution to Socio-Economic Development Through Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy” (26/11/2020).

This meeting allowed to highlight the Leadership and Contributions of Women Experts in Nuclear Science, Technology and Applications to the Socio-Economic Development of their Countries and Africa through Safe, Secure and Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy.

The meeting encouraged the Decision Makers in Africa to Fully Implement the African Union Protocol, Policy, Strategy and Action Plan related to Gender, in the Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy Programs, Nuclear Safety, Security and Safeguards Programmes and Nuclear Disarmament & Non-Proliferation Activities.
