AFCONE – INSEP Webinar on Women’s Contributions to Building Strong State Systems of Accounting for and Control of Nuclear Material in Africa

AFCONE organised Jointly with the United States’ National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA)  a Meeting Highlighting the Contribution of African Women in Setting Up National Nuclear Safeguards Systems.

Following the Introductory Remarks made by the AFCONE ES, the INSEP Director and the IAEA Director Presentations have been made by Algeria, Nigeria and Morocco.

Speakers from Eswatini, Nigeria and Rwanda described the Development of their Career in the Field and their Current Experience.  

IAEA Section Head and ANL/USA Program Assistant presented Education & Training Opportunities Offered for Women to Embrace a Career in Nuclear Safeguards
