The AFCONE Executive Secretary took part in the Meeting. In his statement, he raised the growing importance of the Africa Russia Ties, in particular in the Energy Field.
He reminded the role Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy could play in Africa and the support expected from the providers of nuclear science and technology.
He recalled the challenges faced including the adequate development of human resources, based on long term vision and programmes.
