Objectives of the meeting:
- Discuss on the role and specific support that can be delivered by AUC and IAEA in the implementation of the Practical Arrangements (PAs) and extend the partnerships to other relevant stakeholders;
- Identify and Implement joint activities which would contribute to raise awareness on the uniqueness of nuclear science and technology in the African continent and its contributions to achieving the objectives of the AU Agenda 2063, the SDGs and the AFRA Regional Programme Framework for Africa 2018-2023;
- Identify the priory activities and prepare a work plan to be implemented as per the agreed modalities in the framework of the PAs.
